What happens now?

The submitted surveys will be used to by the U.S. Mint to develop a formal recommendation on coin themes in collaboration with members of the U.S. Commission of Fine Arts, the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee, the United States Semiquincentennial Commission, and other appropriate subject matter experts. Once created, the formal recommendation will be submitted by the Director of the United States Mint to the Secretary of the Treasury for approval.
