Commemorative Coin Program

An estimated 1.8 million American soldiers have been wounded or killed on battlefields since the Civil War. This Purple Heart coin program will help tell the story of those who have been awarded the Purple Heart, as well as their sacrifice and the sacrifice of their families.

Help Support the National Purple Heart Honor Mission
The non-profit organization supports a variety of programs to promote the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor, pay tribute to Purple Heart recipients and educate Americans about combat-wounded veterans.

Surcharges in the amount of $35 for each gold Purple Heart coin sold, $10 for each silver dollar sold, and $5 for each clad half dollar are authorized to be paid to the National Purple Heart Honor Mission, Inc., to support its mission and for capital improvements to the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor facilities.
