Bring World War II history back to life with this 1.5 Inch Osage Nation Tribe Code Talkers Bronze Medal.
This medal is a smaller bronze duplicate of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded to Osage Nation Tribe Code Talkers at a ceremony at the U.S. Capitol Building on November 20, 2013, in recognition of their dedication and valor. The medal measures 1.5 inches in diameter.
The obverse design depicts a Code Talker looking up and focusing on his task. The barbed wire is symbolic of the threat to the soldier. Inscriptions are “OSAGE NATION” and “CODE TALKERS.”
The reverse design depicts a variation of the Osage Nation Seal. Inscriptions are “ACT OF CONGRESS 2008,” “WORLD WAR I” and “WORLD WAR II.”
