Three of our Mighty Minters—Layla, a peahen from West Point, NY; Lina from Philadelphia, PA; and Kendra from Washington, DC—are singing songs of joy about their 2022 Mighty Minters Ornament and are out spreading the holiday spirit. Lit by a neighborhood streetlamp, they love everything about the season and the newly fallen snow.
The reverse (tails side) of the uncirculated American Innovation $1 Coin representing Vermont appears on the front, with an engraved version of the United States Mint Seal on the back. The coin—minted at the Philadelphia Mint—features a design by Artistic Infusion Program Designer Justin Kunz and was sculpted by Medallic Artist Craig Campbell.
The ornament showcases the reverse (tails) side of the 2022 American Innovation $1 Coin— Vermont, recognizing innovation in snowboarding. The coin design features a young snowboarder in the air, set against a mountainous winter skyline inspired by a Vermont landscape.
An engraved U.S. Mint seal is on the back of the hand-crafted ornament. It was constructed in solid brass and finished with the silvery sheen of imitation rhodium.
