ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The American Women Quarters™ program celebrates the unique stories of heroic women throughout history. This year’s collection honors women who made achievements in aviation, the arts, education, and human rights. When collecting the program, subscriptions help ensure you automatically receive each new release of the products. Subscriptions make it easy to complete each set of this four-year program.

Barrier-Breaking Aviator
Bessie Coleman was an aviator, advocate, and pioneer who flew to great heights as the first African American and first Native American woman pilot, as well as the first African American to earn an international pilot’s license.

Hawaiian Cultural Champion
Edith Kanakaʻole was an indigenous Hawaiian composer, chanter, kumu hula, and custodian of native culture, traditions, and the natural land. Her moʻolelo, or stories, served to rescue aspects of Hawaiian history, customs, and traditions that were disappearing due to the cultural bigotry of the time.

Human Rights Hero
Eleanor Roosevelt was more than a first lady. She was an author, civil liberties hero, and Chairperson of the United Nations Human Rights Commission. She was instrumental in the passage of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
