The American Eagle Program honors two iconic symbols – Lady Liberty and the American eagle. Each represents our Nation’s heritage, principles, and aspirations. Since 1986, this iconic coin has been one of the world’s most sought-after coins. After 35 years, the American Eagle coins were redesigned in 2021 with a modified obverse and a completely reimagined reverse. The redesign also included enhanced security features including a reeded edge variation on the one ounce coins.
The 2022 American Eagle product line is already sold out and no longer available for enrollment.
