American Memorial Park 2019 Quarter, 3-Coin Set

The 2019 America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™ – American Memorial Park is the second of five sites to be honored in 2019 and the 47th overall in the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. American Memorial Park honors the thousands of American and indigenous Chamorros and Carolinians of the Northern Marianas who gave their lives during the Marianas Campaign of World War II.

The reverse (tails) design depicts a young woman in traditional dress at the front of the Flag Circle and Court of Honor. She is resting her hand on the plaque whose text honors the sacrifice of those who died in the Marianas Campaign of World War II. Inscriptions are “AMERICAN MEMORIAL PARK,” “N. MARIANA ISLANDS,” “2019,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”

Each three-coin set features an uncirculated quarter from the Philadelphia Mint, an uncirculated quarter from the Denver Mint, and a proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint. The coins are held in a durable plastic card that features a picturesque image and a brief description of the site and the coin, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the card.
