The American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series showcases the Presidential $1 Coins. The 2013 Woodrow Wilson $1 Coin Cover is the 28th issue in the series, which began in 2007.

This limited-edition cover – only 20,000 will be produced – features two Woodrow Wilson $1 Coins from the first day of production at the U.S. Mint facilities at Philadelphia (March 11, 2013) and Denver (February 6, 2013).

The coins are mounted on a display card inside an envelope with a U.S. Patriotic Star  stamp. The cover also features a portrait of President Wilson, and the postmark of November 12, 2013, Staunton, VA, marks the day the Woodrow Wilson $1 Coin Cover was issued by the U.S. Mint.

These coins display large, dramatic artwork and edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and the mint mark. Each coin features a likeness of Wilson and has a common reverse (tails) design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty.

The design inscriptions on the obverse (heads) of the 2013 Woodrow Wilson Presidential $1 Coin are:

  • “IN GOD WE TRUST”
