A new series of $1 coins honoring the Presidents of the United States in the order that they served began in February 2007. Each Chief Executive is featured in an individual card holding the proof version of the Presidential $1 Coin honoring his presidency. These pocket-sized cards are perfect for introducing a young person to the hobby or for the experienced numismatist to begin a new collection.

An image of each President appears on the obverse of the coins and the reverse features a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. These coins also feature edge-incused inscriptions of the year, "E Pluribus Unum," "In God We Trust," and the mint mark. The size, weight and metal composition of the new Presidential $1 Coins are identical to that of the Sacagawea Golden Dollar. Each coin is mounted in an individual protective, rotatable blister; edge-incused inscriptions on the coins are fully visible.
