The Utah quarter-dollar is the fifth and final coin in the 50 State Quarters® Program to be released in 2007. This bag is filled with 100 Utah quarters that were struck on the main production floor of the United States Mint at Denver and bear a "D" mint mark.
Utah was admitted into the Union on January 4, 1896, becoming our Nation's 45th state. The reverse of Utah's quarter features two locomotives moving toward the golden spike that joined the Central Pacific and Union Pacific railroads, linking East to West and transforming both the Utah Territory and the Nation. The coin also bears the inscription "Crossroads of the West," "Utah" and "1896." These coins are available for purchase in 100-coin bags, 1,000-coin bags and two-roll sets. Don't hesitate! Buy your Utah quarters today!
The United States Mint will accept and fulfill orders beginning Monday, November 5, 2007. Utah quarter bags and rolls will be available for approximately 10 weeks after this date.
To ensure that all members of the public have fair and equal access to United States Mint products, any order placed prior to the official on-sale date and time (November 5, 2007 at 12:00 Noon ET) shall not be deemed accepted by the United States Mint and will not be honored.
