This stunning coin features on its obverse a rendition of Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal's historic photograph of the raising of an American flag by the United States Marines on the Japanese island of Iwo Jima.

The coin's reverse features the Eagle, Globe and Anchor, official emblem of the United States Marine Corps.

This is a high quality, satin finish uncirculated coin produced with special care. Each coin is placed in a protective capsule, packaged in a premium gift box.

Metal composition of the coin is 90% silver and 10% copper. The coin's diameter is 1.5 inches and it weighs 26.73 grams.
