The 40-coin roll of 2013 Mount Rushmore National Memorial Quarters with coin rolls from the San Francisco Mint is great for collecting or for sharing!
Each coin in this series features a common obverse (heads) with the 1932 portrait of George Washington by John Flanagan, restored to bring out subtle details and the beauty of the original model. Inscriptions are “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “QUARTER DOLLAR.”
The 2013 reverse (tails) of this coin honors the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The reverse (tails) design was inspired by photos of men who are seen adding the final details to Thomas Jefferson’s face. Mount Rushmore was featured on three 1991 Mount Rushmore Golden Anniversary Commemorative Coins and on the 2006 South Dakota Quarter issued under the 50 State Quarters® Program. This new design is distinctively different and offers a unique and educational perspective on how Mount Rushmore was created and sculpted. Inscriptions are “MOUNT RUSHMORE,” “SOUTH DAKOTA,” “2013,” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
2013 marked the fifth annual release of five quarters in the United States Mint America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. Order this 100-coin bag today.
Please note: U.S. Mint coins are rolled by an automated machine process and not by hand. We cannot guarantee that the obverse (heads) or reverse (tails) of a coin will be at either end of a coin roll.
