Add the three-coin set of the majestic 2010 Grand Canyon National Park Quarters – one each from the Denver, San Francisco, and Philadelphia Mints – to your collection todat.
The Grand Canyon was first established as a national site on February 20, 1893 (27 Stat. 469). A powerful and inspiring landscape, the Grand Canyon overwhelms the senses through its immense size – 277 river miles long, up to 18 miles wide and a mile deep. The reverse (tails) image on the coin features a view of the granaries above the Nankoweap Delta in Marble Canyon near the Colorado River.
Each three-coin set features an uncirculated quarter from the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia, an uncirculated quarter from the U.S. Mint at Denver and a proof quarter from the U.S. Mint at San Francisco with images specific to each national site. The coins are held in a durable plastic card that features a picturesque image and a brief description of the site and the coin, as well as a Certificate of Authenticity on the back of the card.
