The American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series showcases the Presidential $1 Coins. The 2010 Franklin Pierce $1 Coin Cover is the 14th issue in the series, which began in 2007.
Each cover includes two $1 coins on a handsome display card inside an envelope with a U.S. 44-cent Flag postage stamp. Additionally, the cover features a portrait of President Pierce in front of an American flag. The postmark of May 20, 2010, Hillsborough, NH, marks the day the Franklin Pierce $1 Coins were first released into circulation.
