Additional Information

The 2014 United States Mint Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set is a distinctive collection featuring one dollar coins produced by the U.S. Mint in 2014 with uncirculated finishes.

This six-coin set contains four uncirculated Presidential $1 Coins from the U.S. Mint at Philadelphia; one uncirculated Native American $1 Coin from the U.S. Mint at Denver; and a stunning American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin from the U.S. Mint at West Point.

Each Presidential $1 Coin has a common reverse (tails) design featuring a striking rendition of the Statue of Liberty. They feature large, dramatic artwork, as well as edge-incused inscriptions of the year of minting or issuance, “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and the mint mark. The inscription “IN GOD WE TRUST” appears on the face of the coin.

The 2014 obverses (heads) honor:

Warren G. Harding
This design features an image of Warren G. Harding with the inscriptions “WARREN G. HARDING,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “29th PRESIDENT,” and “1921-1923.”

Calvin Coolidge
This design features an image of Calvin Coolidge with the inscriptions "CALVIN COOLIDGE," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "30th PRESIDENT," and "1923-1929."

Herbert Hoover
This design features an image of Herbert Hoover with the inscriptions "HERBERT HOOVER," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "31st PRESIDENT," and "1929-1933."

Native American $1 Coin
The theme of the 2014 Native American $1 Coin commemorates native hospitality ensuring the success of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The reverse design depicts a Native American man offering a pipe, while his wife offers provisions of fish, corn, roots and gourds. In the background is a stylized image of the face of William Clark’s compass highlighting “NW,” the area in which the expedition occurred. The design includes the required inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "$1." The obverse design retains the central figure of the "Sacagawea" design first produced in 2000 with the inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST."

American Eagle One Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin
The obverse design features an ever-hopeful Liberty striding confidently toward the sunrise, draped in the strength of the Stars and Stripes and carrying branches of laurel and oak in her arms to symbolize both civil and military glory. The design includes the required inscriptions "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST."

The reverse design features a striking heraldic eagle with shield and olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left. The design includes the required inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the year of minting or issuance, "E PLURIBUS UNUM," and the mint mark, as well as "ONE DOLLAR" and "1 OZ. FINE SILVER."
